Flutist Nozomi Kanda's concerts and recital have seen her perform in many countries, including Belgium, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Norway, Tunisia and her home country, Japan.

During her studies, Nozomi developed an interest in the shinobue, a traditional Japanese flute, and studied with Kohei Nishikawa, who has a high reputation in this field. Nozomi also regularly gives Japanese music concerts with ensembles that include japanese instruments.

As a chamber musician, she performed together with a broad range of artists, including her ex-professeur Marc Grauwels, Pascal Moragu├Ęs, Francis Orval, Sylvain Creemers, as well as Didier Poskin, Alexander Dmitriev, Koenraad Hofman and many others.

Nozomi Kanda teaches at "the International Music Academy" in Dinant every summer and regularly gives Japanese flute seminar in Paris.
