Former cello-solo of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Micha Haran performed as soloist with the Orchestre Santa Cecilia (Roma), the Geneva Opera Orchestra, RAI Orchestra (Italy), the Bergen Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Mexico, and with orchestras in North and South America, under the direction of Paul Paray, Leonard Bernstein, Zubin Mehta, Christoph Eschenbach, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos etc. He collaborated with musicians such as Pnina Salzman, Sergiu Luka, Itzhak Perlman et Emanuel Ax. Former Professor at the « Temple University » and member of the Trio Temple in Philadelphia, he performed also as a double-bass player, and as a conductor (Israël, Chili, Brazil etc) and has a rich varied discography.
